A photograph is the synthesis of all those defining qualities which make up a moment. Immortalized, immobolized, still. And yet with an urgency of purpose - whether from beneath the lashes of a coy glance, or through the pane of a sundrenched window. A precipitation of darting eyes; half-held breaths. Welcome, viewer.
I am an amateur photographer living and working in Boston, MA. I shoot most anything I come across and work almost exclusively with natural light. Places foreign are a big draw for me - images in this gallery include locations in Mexico, Hawaii, California, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Massachusetts, Maine, and Illinois. South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, New Zealand. Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece. Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Georgia. Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Poland. I believe the recipe for a great photograph is one part the right place and two of the right time, with a dash of itchy shutter finger and a bold stroke of the delete key, more often than not.
"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence."
- Ansel Adams
